Manvinder is the visionary behind the “Inspired By You” (IBY) Vision Foundation—a registered charity and not-for-profit dedicated to empowering young people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) and disadvantaged backgrounds. With over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications and engineering sector, she has led major technology programs that have positively impacted millions of Australians. A proud woman of colour and purpose-driven leader, Manvinder brings together her professional expertise and deep community values to drive systemic change. Her passion lies in ensuring that every young person—regardless of background—has equal access to opportunities, mentors, and the belief that their future is worth investing in. Since founding IBY, Manvinder has steered it from a grassroots initiative to a charity with DGR status, building programs that foster self-belief, resilience, and work-based learning. She is also a dedicated coach and mentor, supporting women in their professional and leadership journeys, and continues to work at the intersection of education, equity, and empowerment.
