Aliye Geleto Anota is an experienced educator and cybersecurity expert with over 15 years across academia, industry, and defense. He has held teaching and leadership roles at institutions including Victoria University, Holmesglen, and Federation University, designing programs that equip the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. Aliye’s work spans digital forensics, cybersecurity strategy, and defense-related initiatives with organisations such as the Australian Defence Force and ECA Group. He holds postgraduate degrees in Cybersecurity Strategy and Diplomacy (ADFA), Computer Engineering (RMIT), and Commercial Law (Deakin), reflecting a strong foundation in both technical and legal domains. Deeply committed to mentorship, Aliye has supported students through his roles at RMIT and as President of AOCAV.
